Education Grant Program

About the Education Grant Program

Grantees will receive up to $5,000 over a one-year period to pay for tuition and required books at the approved Washington college or university of their choice. Grantees are eligible to apply for one additional $5,000 grant, up to a maximum of $10,000 in total WWIN funding.

WWIN Star Scholar Education Grantees are selected among our grantees who are in their first year of a two-year academic program and their first or second year of a four-year academic program. Star Scholars receive up to $5,000 each year of their college careers, up to $20,000 over four years.

Eligibility Criteria

WWIN selects grantees who are ready for transformational life change. Our grantees are determined and driven and have a deep desire to build a better future for themselves and their families. They are prepared to work towards a college degree, sparking positive change for themselves, their families, and their communities for generations to come.

In addition to being ready to transform their lives, applicants must meet all of WWIN’s eligibility criteria and submit all required documentation to be considered.

Selection Process

Our Grantees are selected by a competitive grant selection process. This means that our reviewers read through each and every application to select Grantees who best align with WWIN’s vision, mission, and values. Our reviewers focus primarily on answers to the essay questions about you and the future you want to create for yourself. So please be as thoughtful, honest, and thorough as possible when completing the application.
