FAQ for Providers

Frequently Asked Questions for Service Providers

Are you seeing a client who receives a WWIN grant? Do you have questions about her grant? Below are answers to frequently asked questions. If you need additional information, feel free to call or e-mail us.

What is WWIN?

Washington Women in Need (WWIN) is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to low-income women from across the State of Washington to help with health care and education. We offer grant funding for dental, vision, and mental health counseling services not covered by Apple Health or Medicare. We provide funding for tuition, books, and supplies for higher education.

A WWIN grantee approached me about providing services to her. What do I do now?

Each WWIN grantee has a Grant Agreement specific to her grant. She should provide you with a copy. Please review the Grant Agreement and determine if you will work with the grantee and within the terms of the agreement.

I’ve decided to work with a WWIN grantee. Now what?

First of all, thank you! We are glad you’ve chosen to work with a WWIN grantee and with WWIN. We’re excited to partner with you in making that grantee’s life better! Second, the Grant Agreement outlines the terms of the grant, including what WWIN needs from providers. Be sure to read the terms very carefully to ensure that the services you are providing are covered. If you have questions, contact us at programs@wwin.org or 425-451-8838 x1.
If you are working with a Counseling grantee, please be sure to submit your WA license and a completed W-9 form to WWIN within 30 days of the date on the Grant Agreement. If we do not receive these documents, the  grantee may not receive funding.

How long will it take to process treatment plans?

Depending on the date of receipt, it can take up to one week.
